How we create our guidance
The website combines publicly available manufacturer information with editorial guidance for shopping and fitting. The soleplate guide matches your selected surface to a typical category. It does not assess individual models or replace their manufacturer’s approval.
We do not publish results from our own field tests or assign product scores. The fitting checklists help you record observations; ticking every box does not guarantee a good fit.
How we interpret sources
Manufacturer sources are useful for product terminology and intended uses. They also contain marketing claims. We therefore do not include performance promises or brand rankings in our buying guide. Where information differs, the specific model’s description and pitch rules take priority.
Design and images
The boot image is AI-generated and used for illustration. It does not show a real product for sale. The interactive buying guide and in-depth articles draw on useful ideas from the “Tennis racket” project.
Example collection and future shop links
The ten boots on the homepage are fictional mockups, not real product offers. The images show design examples and do not replace checking an actual soleplate. No prices, test results or performance ratings are claimed for these examples. Shop links are currently disabled. Future affiliate links will be clearly identified; a purchase made through them may earn us a commission.
